About Nick Hagen
A licensed physical therapist since 2009, Nick is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist and certified sports clinical specialist. He is a faculty member of the Institute of Physical Art and Director of Capacity Performance Therapy in Bend, OR. Nick completed his undergraduate training at The University of Colorado in Boulder and physical therapy school at the University of California San Francisco. After PT school, Nick completed a sports physical therapy residency in Vail, CO at the Howard Head Sports Medicine Center. Following residency training, he completed a traveling sports fellowship learning sports medicine with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). In 2016, Nick completed a certification through IPA physical therapy to be a certified functional manual therapist. Nick is a board director of the Oregon National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has spoken at local and national level conferences. Nick is a journal editor for the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Medicine and The International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy. He has been published in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy, Australian Journal of Strength and Conditioning, and through the APTA. Nick is also an adjust professor at Oregon State Cascades Physical Therapy Program.
