Jamie earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of California, San Francisco/San Francisco State University (UCSF/SFSU) and her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Pitzer College of the Claremont Colleges, CA. Jamie focuses on movement analysis, body mechanics, and a hands-on approach.
Jamie is an International Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Association (IPNFA) certified PNF therapist, completing her post-graduate residency from the prestigious Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, CA. Her sensitive touch and teaching of regaining optimal movement has helped patients of all levels with a diversity of neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions.
She likes to understand her patient’s motivations and lifestyle provide best treatment, exercise, and guidance individualized for her patients needs. She helps patients understand their own bodies and make gains in strength and stability, motor control, flexibility, pain reduction, and ease of movement. Jamie appreciates spending time with her patients to guide them toward achieving their goals and staying healthy in the activities they love.
Jamie is a former competitive gymnast, gymnastics coach, and collegiate dancer with a passion for athletics and artistry. She also is an accomplished musician with a love for singing a cappella. Jamie works with AXIS Dance Company, a world renowned integrated dance company with dancers with and without disabilities. She is currently training for her Pilates Instructor Certification.
