About Sheryl Selch

I graduated with a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific in Stockton CA in 1994. Returning to my native Colorado after school, I worked in inpatient rehabilitation until motherhood and a year in La Paz, Bolivia led to 7 years off from P.T. proper. I did keep engaged with movement study, becoming certified to teach Anusara yoga. On return to P.T. and relocation to WA state, I worked in hospitals and long term care, until switching to outpatient P.T. for the last 10 years. I am blessed to work in a small, independent clinic with hour long treatment sessions, and a dedication to holistic treatment.

My main influences in outpatient have been Feldenkrais and of course the IPA! I was thrilled to earn my CFMT with honors in 2019, learning and growing so much through the process. After this I quickly realized, as I had been told, that this was only a beginning, and that, thankfully, there is always so much more to learn!

Among my favorite activities are reading, backpacking, knitting and newly begun sea kayak touring!
