About Samantha Fierro
A native of Jersey City, New Jersey, Samantha achieved her Bachelors in Health Sciences from Mercy College in 2009. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York in 2012. Sam decided to further her interest in orthopedics and manual therapy by joining Inova Physical Therapy Center in 2012 as a resident in the Functional Manual Therapy residency program offered through the Institute of Physical Art- which she completed in 2014. She was then awarded the designation of Certified Functional Manual Therapist with Honors in 2015.
Sam began teaching PNF and CFS for the Institute of Physical Art which bolsters her PT practice by furthering her interest in efficient function with dynamic activities in all patient populations. As a former college athlete, Sam’s interests in orthopedics make injury prevention a vital aspect of her clinical practice. Sam became Clinic Director of the IPTC-Sportsplex in 2017 and continues to foster dedication to function and wellness to maximize patient outcomes.
Sam lives in Manassas, Va with her husband and son. In her free time, she enjoys singing, community theater, and running.
