About Patricia McCracken
PJ graduated with her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hardin Simmons University in 2010. She was introduced to Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art in school. While working through a low back injury a couple of years after graduating, she realized the superiority of the Functional Manual Therapy approach to physical therapy and pursued her certification. She became a CFMT with Distinction in 2016. The Functional Manual Therapy approach to physical therapy has served as the foundation of her clinic, The Body Mechanic, which she opened in her hometown of Whitefish, MT in 2018. Since her certification, she has enjoyed integrating women’s health and treatment techniques from the Barral Institute in her practice.
When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids enjoying the mountains and lakes in Montana.
