About Karen Garrett

Karen Garrett was inspired to become a Physical Therapist watching the courage and perseverance of her father, a quadriplegic for as long as she can remember. As she first-hand witnessed the power of Physical Therapy, she could imagine no other path for herself then to become a PT…the best PT she could be!

Upon graduating with honors at Quinnipiac University with her Master’s in Physical Therapy, Karen began her career and immediately wanted more. She completed her Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy and then went on to complete her DPT at Temple University. Still thirsty for knowledge, Karen took her first class with the Institute of Physical Art and immediately saw the potential to grow further. Karen completed her Certification in Functional Manual Therapy in just under 3 years since her first PNF class. As a CFMT, Karen began building her private practice in Los Angeles, both in Playa del Rey and Palos Verdes. She then went on to complete the Integrated Systems Model Series, under Diane Lee.

Karen is passionate about Physical Therapy and feels truly blessed to join her patients in their path of healing, recovery, accelerating, and reaching their goals.

When not in the clinic, Karen is sharing life, love, and laughter with her husband, James, and their daughter, Skyla, born in 2020! Enjoy the Journey!
