About Janessa Devereux
Janessa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2001 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado Denver in 2009. She became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) through the Institute of Physical Art in 2015—an advanced certification that reflects her commitment to looking beyond symptoms to identify and treat the true source of a problem for lasting results.
Her treatment style is hands-on, whole-body, and movement-focused. Janessa specializes in diagnosing and treating orthopedic and sports injuries and is passionate about helping people move more efficiently and get back to doing what they love. She’s certified in trigger point dry needling and Pilates, and is experienced with neurological and vestibular conditions as well.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find her running trails, backpacking in the mountains, snowboarding, mountain biking, studying Spanish, traveling somewhere new, or hanging by the campfire with a good book.
