About Diana Johnson-Ford
Dr. Diana Johnson-Ford completed her doctoral studies in Physical Therapy through Utica College (2010), fulfilled the requirements for a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy through the University of Miami (1992), and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training at Illinois State University (1988). Diana earned recognition as a Certified Functional Manual Therapist through the Institute of Physical Art in 2000 and recertified in 2010. She has developed a specialty practice, Manus Physical Therapy, Inc., successfully treating chronic pain and motor dysfunction. In addition, Diana has taught Physical Therapy courses at South University for 12 years, including Pathophysiology and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. She has been a lab instructor for The Institute of Physical Art since 1998 and for the Barral Institute Visceral Mobilization series since 2019. Diana’s additional interests include Ultimate Frisbee, Shorin Ryu Karate, flute, competitive dog training in Agility, Obedience, Rally, Tracking, and Scent Work, and raising her two children with her supportive husband.
