About Charles King
Charles King, DPT, CFMT earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York in 2009. Charles had the privilege of studying Functional Manual Therapy under the direct tutelage of his mentors Gregg and Vicky Johnson. Following this, he continued to receive mentorship from Jennifer Green at PhysioArts in New York City, working with elite dancers. In 2010 Charles earned the distinction of being awarded his Functional Manual Therapy Certification faster than any other Physical Therapist, and he earned it with Honors. From 2011-2013 Charles was the Director of Physical Therapy and the FMT Residency Director at the Vardan Center in New Delhi, India. He then completed his Fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists at the IPA Manhattan center. Currently Charles owns a practice in San Francisco, California. Charles is an avid nature lover, enjoys sailing and most of all spending time with his wife and two children.
