About Azuka Nwigwe
Azuka (Az-o-ka) is an orthopedic physical therapist with more than 22 years of clinical experience. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Southern California in 2002 and has devoted her career to helping people recover from physical injuries and move with greater ease.
A dedicated lifelong learner, Azuka continually expands her skills through advanced continuing education. She earned her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2013 and later pursued training through the Institute of Physical Art, becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) with honors in 2019.
After many years in private practice, Azuka founded COS Physical Therapy in 2020 to provide patients with one-on-one, high-quality care, in an out-of-network setting. This model allows her to spend the time needed to address each client’s concerns, movement patterns, lifestyle demands, and long-term goals. Her approach is grounded in compassion, thorough assessment, and a genuine desire to help clients feel and function better in their daily lives.
When not in the clinic, Azuka enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
